Barbezat Bôle, Locle, rare carillon strike minute repeater with four hammers striking on four gongs, 54mm, 18K gold original HC with Jürgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-shift-locking-LS, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 28-37J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#3379 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 79.5 dwt (123.6 g). A rare and attractive complication that is a delight to listen to.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking sluggishly after prodding through a reluctant start, good carillon repeat function and tone, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, mild abrasion to perimeter of fourth wheel bridge; nearly flawless dial with tiny edge nick under bezel at 3; case shows very little wear, dings to band between 9:30 and 12 with the most notable at 12, few dings and mild dings to front and rear evident as some rippling of reflection; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
